wind caves

about a week ago, josh and i decided to hike the wind caves.

the weather was perfect

and the fall colors were brilliant

it was josh's first time hiking the wind caves

it was also tess's first hike ever

the views were amazing

even tess enjoyed them

while i'd like to say that my dog is a champ and made the entire hike

up and back without a hitch...

that most definitely wasn't the case

we carried her about halfway up the mountain

and about 1/4 the way down.

this may just be her first and last hike ever.

congrats to these two cute kids!

my little sister and her bf finance zac got engaged at the happiest place on earth last weekend.

she's a disneyland nutcase so it was the perfect location

and the timing was impeccable- right as the sun was setting and the lights on the castle came on.

yay for another wedding in the spring!

Look what showed up on my porch today! I have no idea how I'm going to study for my test tomorrow!

josh's genius idea

josh and i are hanging out tonight

not doing a whole lot

and out of the blue he says,

"i was thinking... maybe we should get you a new car.  an audi.

you know, because you're going to be an audi-ologist"

i think that hubby of mine is on to something!

congrats, kids!

these two love birds got engaged on saturday and we are so excited for them!

yay for adding another sister to the family on march 19th!

when i grow up...

i'll be the audiologist who does the programming on cochlear implants

8 years of school, but it will all be sooooo worth it

silhouette?

i've wanted a cutting machine for quite some time now.

i've considered the cricut, but those cartridges are so gosh darn expensive

i've looked into a silhouette and it seems like a better choice

but i want to know...

do any of you actually have one?

is it worth the $?

i can't get one for a little while longer 

because for some reason they don't have any software that is mac compatible

but supposedly it is coming sometime this fall

until then, i want to hear what you think
